My mom is definitely my rock. Alicia Keys
Happy Mothers Day!
I hope you all are celebrating this day or at least thanking your mother for all the effort and things she does/did. Somehow I feel sad, that this year I cannot hug my idol and kiss her on the cheeks. But still, this doesn’t mean that I’m not dedicating my thoughts towards her. (Mum, if you read this – thank you, for everything – I LOVE YOU).
It doesn’t matter in what situation I’m in or what decisions I am facing, my mum has always been here and supported me with her advice and thoughts. Friends often come and go but your parents are the steady and reliable rock in your life.
As some of you may know, I am currently in Bali for a Yoga Teacher Course. Even though, she put into doubt the decision I took, to go abroad on my own for a couple of weeks, she acknowledged it and is standing by my site with her support.
As I am currently mostly only connected to the internet through my phone I am still unsure if this post will be published properly 😉 I hope so but otherwise I’m sorry for that (sorry but I really blame that Balinese Wifi… :/)
In this outfit I am wearing some new pieces I collected over the past months. The flower skirt was a super spontaneous purchase in London. Actually I was planning not to buy more clothes but when the lovely lady at Appletreeboutique identified me from my blog I could not resist that beautiful skirt anymore. The blouse on the other hand was an elegant addition from the trip to Milano back in October. Unfortunately I haven’t worn the top as much as I intended to (in fact only twice ☹) The ballerinas on the other hand side where an emergency buy because in the last minute I realised that I had no proper shoes for Graduation Day (ok not really, but none that suited the dress :P). And they will be perfect for summer office days in the following months.
What do you think about the outfit? Do you like it? Did you celebrate Mothers Day? Or is it on another date in your country?
I wish you a wonderful time, sorry for the lack of updates. Make sure to follow me on Instagram or Snapchat (michaelascalisi) for more updates!
All the best, Namaste –
Sometimes the strength of motherhood is greater than natural laws.
