First all facts on the table
None of the items I wear in these photos are part of my wardrobe anymore.
You might ask: Why? Oh well, as you might have read in the previous post about a small guide to minimalism for fashion bloggers I have literally thrown out my whole wardrobe and every item had to undergo the test. And so not all items have found a new place in the wardrobe…
In fact it was: FAIL, FAIL and SEMI-FAIL 😉
- The Dress: Even though the color and pattern are nice, somehow the overall style just did not fit my petite body. And in fact, there are also not many occasions to wear it during Swiss summers. Result: BYEBYE
- The bag: If you know me a bit better that you will have noticed that I cannot go anywhere without my laptop and a bottle of water (and with all the other necessities in a woman’s bag…). This bag has not enough space, right?! Result: FAIL
- The sandals: Honestly speaking, I liked them a lot and had them for many years. However, they take ages to put on with the buckles… And as it was their destiny, they got soaked during a heavy rainfall in Bali and were ruined. Probably they would have stood the minimalism test but for the mentioned reason. But now: R.I.P.
For all my swiss readers: Tomorrow, I will sell (what feels like my whole wardrobe…) a lot of clothes and accessories in Winterthur at the flea market. Everything is for sale as I want to minimize my belongings before I leave for London 🙂
