Wellness Retreats have become extremely popular over the last couple of years…. Are you wondering why? Obviously there come amazing benefits with it. And since I’ve been attending my first Yoga Retreat I am regularly doing something good for my body, mind and soul.

Disconnecting from your routine and focusing on yourself at a new place somewhere abroad can give your well-being a boost. If you have ever been on a retreat you might already have experienced the well-being benefits. And if you are still considering to go on a retreat, then the following benefits should definitely convince you.

Here are some of the benefits I experienced especially at my last yoga retreats:

Many yoga retreats take place in beautiful natural locations around the world. What better way to get out of the overcrowded city you’re living and go on a yoga retreat! You’ll be able to connect with nature on a deeper level, immersing yourself in your surroundings and taking advantage of them in a way you might not otherwise do.

What I love so much about retreats that oftentimes they are taking place at remote locations or in countries you hadn’t the chance to visit yet. A retreat is the perfect reason to go on discovery and start a new adventure. Oftentimes the venue is hosted by locals and you have the chance to see & learn more about the culture..

Especially when you (like me) practice oftentimes alone, it’s so beneficial to get insights from teachers you admire so much!

If your retreat is all inclusive, you get three healthy and delicious meals a day without the need to find recipes, go grocery shopping, prepare the food, or clean up. Getting the nutrition you need has never been easier. All the work is done for you. And inspiring you too to try new things.

We give so much of ourselves in our daily lives that it can be difficult to really take a moment just for ourselves.
